Battle gloves for steel weapon sparring and fighting that give proper protection from strikes to the hand. The inner layer consists of a padded glove, whilst riveted rings cover the outside. Leather covers the "gripping part". To get extra protection, it is possible to wear modern, protective gloves under them.
