Freyr Pendant, Silver
Carefully handmade pendant depicting the Viking god Freyr. It is based on a figurine that was found in Rällinge, Sweden. It should be mentioned that a phallic symbol is visible on the pendant. Freyr was associated with sacral kingship, virility and prosperity, as well as with sunshine and fair weather, and was pictured as a phallic fertility god. It was said that Freyr "bestows peace and pleasure on mortals".
